'89 supra turbo targa owner needs help

I just signed up here and was hoping to find someone in the p-ville or n. austin area that could help me out with my 1989 supra turbo. i can pay someone to get it running right or pay someone just to tell me whats wrong with it or what ever????

What its doin / history----
I purchased this car about 6 months ago in hopes of it becoming a second daily driver for me instead of my gas guzzler avalanche. The car wasnt running very good when I got it, because of cracked bad intake manifold gaskets. The car had been sitting for about a year before I got due to this and the prior owner didnt want to fix it. Any way I fix the intake gasket and it ran pretty good. I drove down to exxon put some lucas fuel treatment in it and filled it up. I drove it around for about 50 miles that night. I did notice that the boost gauge wasnt working, and it didnt have that punch that it should have, like it wasnt building boost. But it drove nice just no hard power, just felt like a n/a car.
I drive it home and park it for two weeks (waiting on title transfer and insurance) I get in it again and drive it about 3 miles and it starts feeling like a bad injector. Just a bad miss, I turn around head home it starts getting worse bucking and spitting. I have to keep my foot in it hard to keep the rpms up where it wont die. It dont want to rev for shit, I have my foor to the foor and it will barly turn 3500 rpm. I just make it to my driveway where it sputters and spits one last time and dies. It want start back up unless you have your foot deep in it and its running pig rich. I check fuel pressure, its fine, I drop the tank, clean as a whistle. I go back into the motor pull out the injectors and have them professionaly tested, cleaned and flowed-all were pretty good to begin with. Someone suggested the mass air flow meter is bad. I replace that still wont run right. So now im thinking the turbo is bad and perhaps block the flow, I pull the turbo loose and both ends are turning freely. It seems fine. So now im thinking it may be the cat because I do remember a strange smell while i kept it running, but i have not check it.
Anybody have any suggestions?
thanks
Tonypaul ???

Do a boost leak test. Its sounds like you may have popped a pipe or you have a whole in one. that will make it want to die and run extremely rich when you start it after it dies and it wont stay running unless you give it gas. Have you changed the plugs since you got it?

Welcome to the forum btw

Do as he says

just checking and fixing that can make the car run better.

BTW, dont change the stock I/C for a FMIC until WAYYY later on dow the road, even tho the stock piece is inefficient for making power, they still are efficient enough to make 300-320hp.

or you could just find an EVO i/c as i heard they are good for 400

if you notice there is oil where it shouldn't be you might have a bad piston ie piston ringland or something.
OIl in maf, oil in the bov, intercooler
